In this module, you’ll discover the triune brain model we’ll use throughout the program, and how it connects to the classic Hero’s Journey we all live in our own way. We’ll also explore the science of neuroplasticity and how you can use it to keep evolving, including:

  • What neuroplasticity is, and how to rewire your brain for growth and transformation

SESSION 3

The Survival Brain 

Your survival brain is always on the lookout for danger — and while that once kept us alive, today it often holds us back. In this module, we’ll explore the tension between safety and novelty, and how our instincts can sabotage growth if left unchecked. You’ll learn how to recognize these patterns and override them when they no longer serve you, including:

  • How the survival brain reacts to threats — real or imagined

  • Why the need for safety can keep you stuck, and why novelty is essential for growth

  • Practical ways to calm survival-mode reactions and choose thriving instead

You’ll walk away with the ability to spot when your survival brain is running the show — and the tools to shift back into a state where growth and progress become possible.

SESSION 4

The Emotional Brain

Your emotional brain shapes how you connect with others and how you see yourself. In this module, we’ll explore belonging and validation, and how they influence motivation, relationships, and self-image. We’ll also look at the role of oxytocin, the power of fantasy projections, and the balance between extrinsic and intrinsic motivation — and how all of this ties into the ego, including:

  • Why belonging and validation are fundamental human needs

  • How oxytocin drives connection, trust, and social bonding

  • The difference between extrinsic and intrinsic motivation — and why it matters

  • How the ego can sabotage your growth

You’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of your emotional brain, and how to harness its power without getting trapped by its illusions.

SESSION 5

The Executive Brain

 Your executive brain is the part that plans, organizes, and makes conscious choices. In this module, we’ll look at the balance between structure and autonomy — and why both are essential for a fulfilling life. We’ll explore the role of routines, habits, and discipline, and how a genuine sense of control can protect you from falling into learned helplessness, including:

  • How structure creates stability while autonomy fuels motivation and ownership

  • Why routines and habits free up mental energy for what really matters

  • How discipline builds confidence and resilience over time

  • The dangers of learned helplessness, and how to avoid the trap of giving up

You’ll walk away with the tools to strengthen your executive brain and design a life where you feel in charge — rather than at the mercy of circumstance.

SESSION 6

Own Your Life

This is where it all comes together. In this final module, we’ll look at the core drivers of joy and pain, and how they shape the choices we make every day. You’ll discover the compensation mechanisms we develop — some healthy, some less so — and how to become aware of the patterns running your life. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to step out of autopilot and make a conscious choice about the life you want to create, including:

  • How joy and pain drive your behavior more than you realize

  • The healthy and unhealthy ways we compensate when needs aren’t met

  • How to break free from unconscious patterns and reclaim choice

  • A framework to align your brain, your environment, and your goals
